Kingstone Recording Studios was founded by William P. Bingen, a dedicated musician and producer whose journey with music began at the age of 13 when he received his first guitar as a Christmas gift. What started as a spark quickly grew into a full-blown passion, shaping a career built on creativity, dedication, and a relentless love for sound.

Over the last decade, William has developed into a multi-instrumentalist, mastering keys, drums, and bass alongside his guitar work. He has performed with several bands, including Three Halves and Sunny Side, and continues to draw inspiration from a diverse mix of artists, ranging from classic rock icons like Eric Clapton, Queen, and AC/DC to modern acts like John Mayer, Coldplay, and No Doubt.

William’s roots in music run deep. As a teenager, he worked at Musicology, a local music store that fueled his passion and helped him build a foundational understanding of gear, tone, and production. He later studied at Rock Central in Lake Geneva, where he opened for legendary bands such as Kansas and The Guess Who.

Beyond performance, William also channels his creativity into handcrafting his guitars, a craft he began at just 17. This hands-on connection to sound and instrument-making adds a unique touch to his approach as a producer and engineer.

Though he once planned to study computer science, William ultimately followed his heart into music full-time. Kingstone Recording Studios is the result of that decision: a place where independent artists, bands, and creators can bring their music to life in a space that values authenticity, craftsmanship, and sonic excellence.
